Recommendations for 7th Street Corridor

There are 8 intersections on 7th Street in the Phase 1 area,
at Chicon, Robert T. Martinez Jr., Prospect/Webberville, Northwestern, Pedernales, Calles, Gonzales, and Pleasant Valley.

Of these, we've selected two intersections at Chicon and at Pleasant Valley that are GATEWAYS to the Commercial/Mixed-Use District.
These intersections will be a focus for public art, functional art and landscaping.

Two other intersections at Prospect/Webberville and at Northwestern have unused commercial property space that could be used for art.
I recommend that these four intersections be considered as ARTSCAPES, combining public art, functional art and landscaping.
