Crushed Round Sconce, 6 commissioned by Simon Property Group for The Domain, slumped glass by Studio K

In the Austin Chronicle's article on the East Austin Studio Tour, both Billy Kirkland and Eva Buttacavoli shortlisted Fisterra Studio as a "hot stop"-- thanks! We had a huge turnout and a great E.A.S.T. this year.

The Anvil's Ring showcased our functional work in a 6 page spread in the Summer 2007 issue.

The Austin Chronicle's Rachel Koper wrote an article about metal working in the Texas heat, "Heavy Metal," that featured Todd Campbell along with other metal heavies Hawkeye Glenn, Lars Stanley, Suzanne Baas, Colby Brinkman, Troy DeFrates, Haley Woodward, Brady Foster, Sun McColgin and Laura Garanzuay.

The Domain, a new high-end retail shopping center in north Austin, has opened with permanently installed works by local artists. See the crushed round sconces as well as the grass accompanying Blue Genie's Whooping Crane commissioned by Simon Property Group. Also stop by Neiman Marcus to see the sculptural work they commissoned for their Austin store, "Spaceballs".
